BHOPAL: Uttar Pradesh chief minister

Yogi Adityanath

on Saturday alleged that the

Congress

manifesto talks about bringing about

Aurangzeb

's 'Jizjya' through

inheritance tax

, and promises 'freedom of choice of food for the minority community.'
Campaigning for Jyotiraditya Scindia in Guna's Ashokenagar, he said that people of Guna were "lucky to have Scindia since he has a vision for the future".

Scindia said he would take inspiration from Adityanath and "won't allow any wrongdoing ('galat kaam') in his region".

Scindia also urged voters to make a "triple engine sarkar".
"The cruelest Mughal Badshah was Aurangzeb. Cultured Muslim families do not name their sons Aurangzeb. He imposed

jizya

tax. Today, Congress in its manifesto is also talking about Jizya. That is what they call 'inheritance tax'," Adityanath said.
While PM Modi says he will end the symbols of ghulami (slavery) but respects our heritage, Congress manifesto says they will impose inheritance tax, the UP CM said.
