Himachal Pradesh minister and Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh on Sunday took a veiled jibe at actor and BJP's Mandi candidate Kangana Ranaut, calling her an "imported leader". He said all arrangements were made to "send her back to Mumbai" once she loses the elections.

Vikramaditya Singh, the son of late former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and state Congress unit chief Pratibha Singh, is the party candidate from Mandi.

Addressing a rally in Kasauli, Vikramaditya Singh exuded confidence that the Congress would sweep all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh. "In Mandi, we have made all the arrangements to send the imported leader (Kangana Ranaut) back to Mumbai," he said without naming the actor.

"We are contesting (these elections) on the front foot. We are working day and night in Mandi. I can say this with surety that we will win all four seats," he added.

This is not the first time that Vikramaditya Singh took a dig at Kangana Ranaut.

Last month, the Himachal Pradesh minister claimed that Kangana Ranaut was like a "frog" who would vanish after some days of campaigning. He alleged that the actor had come to Himachal Pradesh only for a "tour" as the weather in the state was pleasant.

"Kangana Ranaut is here today. She will return tomorrow (in the days to come). She is like a frog that comes out during the rainy season," he had said.

Polling in four Lok Sabha seats of the hill state -- Mandi, Shimla, Kangra and Hamirpur -- will be held in the last phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections on June 1. Results are expected to be announced on June 4.
