Women’s national wrestling camp cancelled amid ongoing protest against the Wrestling Federation of the India (WFI). Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and a number of other wrestlers protested against the WFI. The 28-year-old Phogat alleged that Brij Bhushan Sharan had been harassing female wrestlers. Bajrang also said that protests won’t stop after the police said that sitting at Jantar Mantar wasn’t allowed after 5 pm in the afternoon. The wrestlers said that they are not going to leave the spot until the federation accepts their demand.
