Sheezan Khan's sisters Falaq and Shafaq Naaz share a new statement on Tunisha Sharma's suicide case; write, "This is probably what they call Ghor Kalyug"

Sheezan Khan, Tunisha Sharma's ex-boyfriend and Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul co-star, was placed in judicial detention on Saturday for 14 days in the suicide case. Shailendra Mishra, Sheezan's lawyer, told ETimes TV exclusively that he and Sheezan's family will conduct a press conference on Monday.

Now, Sheezan Khan's sisters Shafaq Naaz and Falaq Naaz have shared yet another statement in the ongoing case. They mentioned how the media has reacted to the case and more. Here's what they wrote:

"It breaks our hearts how our silence has been understood as a weakness. This is probably what they call 'Ghor Kalyug'. Where's the research of some media portals before reporting things? Where's the common sense of the masses? For all the people demeaning Sheezan- ask yourself this - are you talking based on the situation, or are you talking out of hate for a religion? Or are you talking out of influence from previous events? Stay woke, people! The journalism standards of a certain section of media have stooped so low that it only functions based on TRP. And YOU are their consumer. It's equally your responsibility to report the news with unreliable sources. Don't be fooled.

We also notice and are very thankful for the masses as well as media portals that can see through the false narratives - we need more people like you.

But all in all, it's so upsetting to see these people relentlessly malign Sheezan this way. From making up stories to dragging religion into the matter and random people claiming to be our acquaintances for their 15-minute fame. This situation has really revealed how nasty some humans can get to defame someone.

God bless Tunisha and hope she's in a better place now."

Sheezan's lawyer Advocate Mishra talks about the case and its proceedings. He said, "Wait till Monday at 11 am, we will give clarification on everything. I will be taking a press conference with Sheezan's family. Every question asked will be replied to in letter and spirit including every gratification required for proving beyond a reasonable doubt that the investigation has been misled and misguided by making allegations which are false. There is no evidence and everything has been misused. Investigation done in the matter was not the right move."
