on Monday, with the former's mother and brother also accompanying them. As part of the ongoing

Lok Sabha Elections 2024

, the Deshmukh family cast their

vote

at a polling booth in Latur, Maharashtra. The third phase of Lok Sabha elections is being held across 94 constituencies, covering 10 states and one Union Territory.

White Riteish sported a white kurta, Genelia stunned in a floral yellow saree.

Post the voting, the actors spoke to ANI outside the booth and encouraged citizens to practice their right to vote. Genelia shared, "This is an important day. Voting is important. Every citizen must go and vote. I think this is very important." While Riteish stated, “I came to Latur from Mumbai to cast my vote. Everyone should come out of their houses and cast votes. Today is an important day. Everyone should definitely vote.” Latur is their hometown and the family often visits there during the vacations.

On the work front, Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in a Marathi film titled Ved, which he also directed. He is now gearing up for Housefull 5, Masti 4, Visfot and Raid 2 among others. Meanwhile, Genelia is shooting with Aamir Khan for their next venture, Sitaare Zameen Par. The makers are planning to release this film during December 2024.
