PM Modi says, Congress conspired to take away rights of SCs, STs

Amid the ongoing second phase of Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, while addressing an election rally in Bihar's Araria, said that the Congress has conspired to take away the rights of SCs, STs and OBCs.

The PM has been attacking Congress in his recent election rallies over the redistribution of wealth, the opposition's manifesto, etc. On Friday, the PM said, "Congress is trying its best to implement religion-based reservations. It is trying to implement the Karnataka model of reservation in the country. They have betrayed the OBC community and included all Muslims of Karnataka in the OBC list, irrespective of their financial status."

Claiming that at least 27 per cent reservation for the OBC has gone to the Muslims in Karnataka, PM Modi alleged that Congress wants to do the same in Bihar and other parts of the country.
