This comes a day after the probe agency arrested a key conspirator in Bengaluru's cafe blast case who had allegedly extended logistic support to the other two identified accused in the case, involving an IED explosion.
The NIA, which took over the case on March 3, had earlier identified the main accused, Mussavir Shazeeb Hussain, who had carried out the blast.
The blast took place at the café during the busy lunch hour on March 1, injuring at least nine people. Earlier, the Bengaluru Police had filed a case under the rigorous Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosive Substances Act regarding the cafe explosion. The explosion occurred at 1pm on March 1, and police identified a suspect in CCTV footage seen placing a bag inside the cafe. Probe revealed that the explosion was caused by an IED device with a timer.
