Father held for strangling his 4-year-old twins to death in Karnataka

By India Today News Desk: In a tragic incident, a man allegedly killed his four-year-old twin boys in his car on Wednesday and parked the car at Chalageri tollgate. Police have arrested the accused father. The accused was identified as Amar Kittur, who is a Gokak native and a resident of Davanagere. He allegedly strangulated Anvit and Advait.

After the preliminary investigation, the police found the bodies of the twin boys were in the car.

The alleged twin murder happened when Amar’s wife was at her parents’ house in Vijayapura. The incident came to light when Amar’s wife called him and insisted on telling her about the children.

The police took Amar into custody after his wife called the police and informed them about the incident.

“We have arrested accused Amar, and launched an investigation. We will submit a chargesheet to the court soon,” said SP K Arun, as quoted by the Times of India.
