Ex-Kerala Minister files complaint over her morphed images being circulated

Former Kerala Health Minister and Vatakara constituency LDF candidate, KK Shailaja, has filed a complaint stating that morphed pictures of her in a sexually suggestive manner are being circulated online.

Shailaja lodged a complaint with the police, Election Commission, and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, alleging that apart from extremely rude comments and messages, sexually manipulated images of her were being circulated on social media. She claimed that these morphed images have been personally insulting to her.

In the complaint, she alleged that the Congress workers were behind these actions with the knowledge of UDF Candidate Shafi Parambil.

Shailaja has requested the Election Commission to take strict action against the defamatory remarks made against her on social media platforms.

This election marks the first time in Kerala's history where two sitting MLAs are contesting against each other for the Lok Sabha elections, promising to be a tough contest.

KK Shailaja currently serves as an MLA from Mattanur in Kannur, while Congress candidate Shafi Parambil represents the Palakkad constituency in the assembly.
