Caught on CCTV: Meerut businessman's standoff with masked men who shot at him

Four people were arrested and sent to jail in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut in the case of a firing incident. A video of the incident went viral on social media in which four masked miscreants could be seen entering the office of a businessman and firing at him.

Police said that the incident stemmed from an earlier fight between the businessman Jamil Ahmed and the miscreants at a gym.

A case has been registered in the matter.

The entire firing ordeal was caught on CCTV. According to Ahmed, he was at his office at around 1 pm on Saturday along with two other men when the masked men suddenly entered the venue.

Two men could be seen entering the office, followed by two more in a few seconds. The businessman throws several objects at the four men, who hardly spend any time inside the office and rush out. Another man in the surveillance footage could be seen hiding in a corner of the couch.

The attackers allegedly fired three to four rounds before fleeing the scene.

The entire incident happened in under a minute as seen in the surveillance footage.
