A brawl broke out at a New Year party in Greater Noida after women were forced to take selfies by a group of men.

By India Today Web Desk: A clash broke out between two groups when some men tried to take selfies with women at a housing society in Greater Noida during a New Year party.

It is also alleged that when the women protested against the selfies, the group of men misbehaved with them and also assaulted some youths. Police have taken 2-3 people into custody.

A New Year’s party was being celebrated at First Avenue City Park, Greater Noida West, in which the people of society gathered to welcome the New Year.

During the party, a few residents of society were dancing when men forcibly tried to take selfies with the women and this led to a heated argument between the accused and the women’s family members.

The accused then dragged and hit the two men and some other residents. The security guards of the society were also injured when they intervened.

SHO of Bisrakh police station area, Anil Rajput told that the matter is being investigated, strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
