Actor and business entrepreneur Sahil Khan has been arrested by the Mumbai Police in the Mahadev betting app case. He has been taken into custody after being caught in Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh and is being brought back to Mumbai.
Khan is linked to a betting app named 'The Lion Book App', which is also allegedly part of the Mahadev betting app network. He was earlier questioned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Mumbai Police in the case.
His arrest came after the Bombay High Court rejected his pre-arrest bail plea.
Sahil Khan is a partner in 'The Lotus Book App'. He promoted the website, attended their events and also launched 'Lotus Book 24/7' as a partner.
